Bonus Scenes...those little extras...

I love reading bonus scenes or watching bonus clips on television. If someone told me I could read about or watch Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet get married, I would be beyond excited. Imagination is great, but there are times when I don’t want to imagine or guess—I want to know! I even want to know when storylines change and what might have been… That’s why I created these bonus scenes and extras from several of the A Family Affair books.

  • Wouldn’t you like to know what Nate Desantro was thinking right before he married Christine?
  • And how about discovering Harry Blacksworth’s thoughts as he prepares to give Christine away?
  • Lily is still one of my favorites and she’ll warm your heart with her innocent and yet spot-on observations about the wedding, life, and love in Magdalena. Don’t miss these and more in this collection of bonus scenes from various A Family Affair books.

I loved writing these scenes and now I want to share them with you. Enjoy!

Pulling Home by Mary Campisi

She wasn’t nineteen anymore, that was damn sure. Her breasts filled the pink sweater and he could guess at the tell-tale signs of ample cleavage rimming her bra, despite the absence of a neckline. His eyes were trained in female body parts which had nothing to do with his medical expertise. Jack knew women’s bodies, knew how to please them, knew how to drive them wild.

She’ll risk anything to save her child…even the truth.

The Choice

A Family Affair: The Choice is now available…Am I excited? Yes, I certainly am. It’s been almost a year since the last A Family Affair book released and that’s a long time. You might wonder how I finished the book almost two months early. Well…I built in extra time for my daughter’s wedding, my stepson’s move back to the area, and those other happenings I call “life’s unexpected surprises”. This has been a pretty calm summer so I got a lot of writing done. It also helped that I either listened to or read all of the previous 13 books in the series. I loved doing this and was so caught up in the characters and their predicaments that even small mentions stuck in my brain as I wrote. Re-reading all those books also gave me the premise for the next one, including characters I haven’t yet met! Love when that happens. But that’s for another post, because right now I want you to think about Ben and Gina Reed and the trouble headed their way.

Mary and CooperAnd of course, my dear sweet Cooper is in this book as Harry Blackworth’s rescue. I think you’ll enjoy reading about those two—what a pair, the Rescued rescues the rescue!
